STEM Camp
Earlier this year, I was in an advanced criminalistics class. My professor, Ryan Barney, mentioned that there was going to be a camp for kids over the summer that went over forensic science. I found this super exciting and signed up immediately to help with the camp.
I created a workshop as part of a STEM camp for kids in 7th and 8th grade. My part of the camp focused on forensic science and how science is used to solve crimes. The camp was very interactive for the kids and they were able to investigate a murder scene using what they had learned.

Along with the camp, I was also chosen for an internship supervised by Ryan Barney. This internship went throughout the summer where I learned how to use different tests in order to properly identify a drug.

Below, are some pictures of what I set up for the camp.
